06 → "Superama" Ice Cream Branding

A challenge of building a brand around the words “Superama” and “Split.” I developed the concept of a protein ice cream that balances indulgence with functionality. The visual identity was designed to feel playful and energetic, drawing heavily on star-inspired imagery. The idea of a “superstar” became central, influencing both the 3D character design and the final brand mark.

In the early stages of the design process, I explored a range of concepts and found the incorporation of a star shape to be 
the most compelling direction. The star communicated the intended message through its simplicity and playful character. 
Additionally, I discovered that integrating the star with the negative space of the letter “S” created a subtle sense of
movement; showcasing the quality of a shooting star.

I recognized the importance of creating a brand that could captivate audiences without relying solely on the star mascot to reveal its concept. The most compelling identities often spark curiosity through an element of intrigue or subtle unconventionality. With this in mind, I explored an approach that embraced ambiguity, using it as a tool to spark interest and initiate conversation around the brand.
